Memphis Pencils release Shhh, I’m Rustic and tour U.S.

In early 2011, Art Amiss awarded a $300 grant to the Fayetteville, Arkansas based band Memphis Pencils to assist them with the mastering of their first full-length album, Shhh, I’m Rustic.
On the physical CD release as well as on the group’s Bandcamp page, Memphis Pencils graciously acknowledged Art Amiss’ contribution to their album:
“Mastering paid for by Art Amiss, Inc., a Fayetteville, Arkansas-based artists’ collective with the expressed purpose of giving opportunities to emerging artists living in or working from Arkansas. artamiss.org”

Following a CD release party for their new album, Shhh, I’m Rustic, on July 8th at the Smoke & Barrel Tavern, Fayetteville’s Memphis Pencils embarked on a successful nine state/eleven city tour from July 19th to August 6th. You can listen to and download Shhh, I’m Rustic as well as Memphis Pencils’ earlier EP Crayon Jewels directly from their Bandcamp page.
Art Amiss is proud to have assisted in this project and wishes the members of Memphis Pencils continued success with their musical careers!
